Cravings push us to eat as if we are really hungry, when in actuality we are not.  Hunger is from a physiological NEED, Cravings are from a psychological WANT.  Hunger forces us to eat ANY kind of food.  Cravings are a want of a SPECIFIC kind of food.  Hunger depends on physiological need, but cravings depend on the situation.  For example, if you walk by a pizza

  • Losing weight is HARD.  It's easy to feel like a failure when you're told "just eat in moderation" or "just eat healthy, don't obsess" These comments get me all fired up inside. You wouldn't be overweight if you could "just" do those things. There does require some serious dedication and diligence for most people to lose weight. So while "diet" is a 4 letter word(I agree), when you are overweight you DO need to engage in a "diet" type mentality for a bit to change your habits and relearn what

  • I absolutely LOVE TurboFire.  I love the way it makes me SWEAT.  I love that is so upbeat and FUN that while I'm working my BUTT off, I'm enjoying it!  When I'm not doing TurboFire workouts, I miss them.  So today on an off day from Les Mills PUMP, I popped in TurboFire's advanced dvd, Fire 60.  AMAZING.  Here are some snippets of me doing the workout today.  If you need some major cardio in your life, and you want to blast 9 times more fat, then you've GOT to try TurboFire.  High Intensity I
